The Near Tomorrow is a musical retelling of the Salomé story set against the backdrop of the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Synthesizing history and mythology, it explores a watershed moment in American history before everything changed forever – a moment when the shiny corporate American dream of the future was shattered by the very real present-day struggle for civil rights.
